Road trips

Over the last couple of months I was lucky to go on two road trips, one to St. Louis and one to West Texas. There is something about road trips that really catches me, and I think is the fact that you never lose the connection with yourself while you are traveling. You go on your own rules and the time constraints are not so strict. Even more, you can enjoy the road as much as the destination and that, at least in my case, makes me more aware of details that I would be missing if I were flying. Do not misunderstand me, I think airports and flying have their own charm, but being on the road is a unique experience. Anyway, I just want the pictures to speak from themselves. It is hard to find words to describe my personal experiences in these trips, so I hope the pictures help to deliver the message.

Let’s start with St. Louis. For me being there felt like tasting a soft, warm, sweet bread.

West Texas. These landscapes made my spirit to expand and my body to feel tiny in such immensity. Not a sweet place like St. Louis. Instead, West Texas is wild and not for everyone. But inspires a special kind of inner peace.
